Step 1: Clean up your diet

Examine the foods you eat everyday, or at least most of the time.

Identify which of those foods have sneaky sugars. 

Start to eliminate sugars and highly-processed foods from your everyday life.

Step 2: Focus on eating fats, fibers, and proteins

Choose the best low carb and fresh keto options. Consume foods like avocado, wild fish, nuts, beef, leafy greens, extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. . . to name a few.

Improve the quality of the foods you eat as much as possible. Ensuring that you get the most vitamins, minerals, and nutrients in every meal.

Step 3: Shrink your eating window

Start each day by drinking a glass of filtered water. The body will start to wake up, clean itself out, and be set up for better digestion.

Afterwards you can drink your preferred morning drink. Just make sure to use natural sugars or even better, make it sugar-free. 

Don’t eat your first meal until you are actually hungry. Avoid eating because of boredom or emotions.

Lastly, stop eating 3-4 hours before bed. Allowing your body to process and use what you ate, instead of storing it.

  2. Understand which sugars to choose - think fruits vs. candy or bread
  3. Always be aware of artificial sweeteners - they might not raise blood sugar levels, but they can make you insulin resistant and slow metabolism
  4. Pay close attention to products that read “low glycemic index” but when you look at the nutritional facts label - has butt loads of sugar in it… These products are full of artificial sweeteners
  5. A high sugar diet can increase the chances of dementia, heart disease, cancer, breakouts, bloating, and joint pain. . . to name a few
