Tuna salad is a classic comfort food. Simple, tasty, and healthy. The whole family will love this real bread keto tuna salad sandwich recipe.


  1. 1- 5 oz canned tuna (in water or olive oil)
  2. 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  3. 1 tsp no-sugar relish
  4. 1/4 tsp dried minced onion
  5. 1/8 tsp garlic powder (or 1 minced garlic clove)
  6. sea salt and pepper to taste
  7. 4 slices keto bread

    1. 1 - 15 oz can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
    2. Drain and place in a bowl.
    3. Mash with. a fork or blend until there are small pieces.
    4. Mix, serve and enjoy.
  3. Make it a keto vegan tuna melt by adding vegan cheese and follow the instructions above.

Yes, the chickpeas will heightened the carb level of your vegan keto tuna sandwich, but that is typical with vegan keto.
