I'm going to start by saying that basically all of these questions have to do with food.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with food. It's very obvious that I love food and so naturally I'd attract people that also love food and want to get healthy.
I picked 6 questions to answer at random.
1. How do I start keto?
Oki doki, this has to be the top question I get. Totally understandable. When something is new we all want the fast track to starting and seeing results.

2. Can I eat popcorn on keto? I heard popcorn is a healthy snack.
Popcorn is one of the most popular snacks in the U.S., so it's no surprise that this question came up.
Although i'll admit to popcorns deliciousness, it's not exactly keto.
According to Verywellfit's nutrition calculator 1 cup of traditionally oil-popped popcorn has:
5 grams carbs
4.1 grams net carbs
0.8 gram proteins
4.8 grams fats
1 cup of air-popped popcorn has:
6.2 grams carbs
5 grams net carbs
1 gram proteins
0.4 grams fats
I know you're thinking to yourself. Wait that's way under 20 grams, and you're right it is way under 20 grams... for 1 cup of popcorn.
When was the last time you ate only 1 cup of popcorn?
If you are just starting your keto journey I do not recommend indulging in popcorn. It's too tempting to go over.

3. Can I eat more than 20 net carbs?
Of course you can.
20 net grams of carbs is a general starting point for majority of people starting keto because it starves the body of carbohydrates to increase production of ketones.
I've noticed that many people who start keto have minimal movement or exercise in their daily lives. So a loss of weight is extremely dependent on what you eat.
Once you start losing weight, incorporating exercise, and leveling up your health, of course you can adjust your carbs.
Actually you might end up adjusting all your macros.
Someone who exercises has different needs than someone who do not.

4. What can I eat on keto?
This questions gos hand in hand with the starting keto question, and is very important to reaching your goals on the keto diet.
Actually I would be as bold to say that eating right is way more important than exercising. - especially in the beginning of your journey.
Take it from me. If you don't eat right, then you won't feel right when you exercise.
You'll get exhausted faster, feel like your going to barf, and even feel extra fatigued.
Not a good combination when exercising.

5. How do I stay motivated?
To clarify this question, I believe it was asking me what I personally do to stay motivated when I hit a rough patch.
The word Motivation means "the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way.
When I first began my health journey I used to think that I had to keep pictures of famous celebrities or models as motivation for me.
I went completely for the superficial reasons, and all they did was make me feel like crap and cause me to constantly compare myself to everyone I thought looked better than me.
It actually had the opposite affect that I thought it would.
So, after I went on a journey of mindset work and self confidence building I came to one simple conclusion - my motivation is because I'm worth it.
I was put on this Earth because I am loved by God, my body is my temple and I deserve the best temple ever. I deserve to live a long full life as much as I can help it.
I have a purpose on this Earth - why shortened it.
To bring this conversation down to human level. You need to figure out your "Why"
What's the thing that will keep you going - because for years I thought superficial reasons was it. Was the ultimate reason, but it wast until I connected my health goals with my soul- burning reasons was I actually able to stick to this.

I know it mentioned New Years, but the 4 mindset steps I take you on should be applied and used any time of the year for long term results.
6. Help me I'm bored, I need snack ideas!
Okay, this one was not exactly answered in a question form, but I understand the need. I've purchased many keto foods, snacks, and drinks, and one thing I learned is that they are not all winners.
Yes, you heard that right. Some are way to funky for my tastes, and I've been following this lifestyle for a while now.
